About Us

3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Wisteria is a lovely 2lb dwarf mix (adult). She was found as a stray with another bun (sadly the other rabbit was paralyzed and suffering when found, so he was humanely euthanized). Wisteria is blind in one eye, but you would never know. She loves attention, kisses and being held. Hey! check out her mohawk!!! Wisteria the punk rocker bun!!!

Update: It seems that Wisteria has decided she liked Buttons, but loved another (she fell instantly in love with George as soon as she was taken into foster care!! Wisteria and Buttons decided to part ways as friends. Buttons is back to being a single bun, waiting for his true love. This little guy is a terrifc bonding canidate. Do you have a single bun that has also been waiting for their special "hunny bun"! Buttons may be the one!!
