3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Whisper

Whisper and babies

This precious 6-7 month old, recently becamea mom. She and another bun (??sibling) were surrendered to an area shelter. Whisper gave birth a few days later, and was not sure how to be a momma, being young herself. 3 Bunnies was asked to help by fostering Whisper and babies, in hopes that she would do better. Sadly 2 babies did not make it, but Whisper's foster mom actually was able to teach her how to nurse, and care for the remaining babies.

They are all doing well, and Whisper has become a very good momma, and is protective of her 3 little fat babes. Although about a week or so behind developmentally, they are catching up,and will be fine.

Whisper is approx 4lbs, loves attention, and does not mind being held and cuddled.

She is a snow white Dwarf mix
