About Us

3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Vanilla and CoCoNut

Hello, We are Vanilla and CoCoNut. We were supposed to each have our own photo shoot however being young bunnies of course we could not cooperate and insisted on remaining side by side. looking as cute as ever, the shoot went on with us together but then we did get caught off guard and a couple individual shots were taken.

Anyway, we are from Whisper's second litter and have developed our Mom's wonderful calm loving and fun personalities. We love to binkie about and twirl and spin and then flop down and pass out for a long nap. We are both good eaters and enjoy our hay, pellets and lots and lots of fresh greens of all types. Yummy, we had our first dill and cilantro this week and what a big hit that was. We like to be held and petted and snuggles for a bit but there is a lot of running and jumping to do so we have to split up our time.

CoCoNut has earned her/him self the title of Queen/King of the hidey box. Bunnies are supposed to rest INSIDE the box, not on TOP of the box. Probably this is why you got the name cocoNUT. Please come see us, we love visitors and want to enchant you with our charming personalities so we can have a family of our own.

We do not have to go as a pair although that would be nice.
