The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

  • To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
  • To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
  • To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Adopted June 27, 2006 by Stephanie and Suzman (or affectionately "Man")!!
Hi, I'm Turtle, a 4-5 lb male Dwarf mix, approx 1-2yrs old, with a stunning Harlequin coat. I came back to 3 Bunnies, after my mate passed away. I was very lonely, but Filmore helped by talking to me and doing his silly "twirls". I love attention, and do not mind being held, in fact I like being carried around and long as I get face kisses also!!! I really would love a new friend.

Original story: This adorable 4-4.5 pound male Harlequin, was found roaming the streets, and brought to the local shelter. We do not know his age, but Turtle does appear to be young.

Taken into 3 Bunnies and being given lots of TLC, Turtle has blossomed! He is very social and will stretch way up on his toes to get your attention, so you can give him a kiss on his little white nose! Turtle loves gentle ear massages and will give "teeth purrs" in sheer appreciation.

He is very skilled in the art of "bunny flops" and lounges about in relaxation. You would swear you can see a little smile on his lips!!! This is one great bun!!
