About Us

3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Timmy

Update January 2, 2008: Great news! Timmy has had all his tests and x-rays...........and has been medically cleared for adoption!!! He did wonderful and passed with flying colors!!!!!!!!! This little guy just LOVES attention and being with people, but would prefer not to have a rabbit friend, however gentle cats or dogs may be fine. Timmy likes to be held, and is just waiting for his forever home.

Note: 3 Bunnies would like to thank all who made it possible by sponsoring Timmy, to get the medical tests he needed.

Update October 1, 2007: Timmy is doing very good. He is full of life, and LOVES to rearrage his blankets and towels. After being active, he does have to rest and at times appears to be out of breath, but he is a little trooper!

This is Timmy, a 2 year old male black dwarf mix rabbit.

This little handsome cutie is just as sweet as a Hershey bar! Timmy is a small dwarf mix that appears very friendly. He loves to toss his toys around and enjoys his vegetables immensely! Timmy is not litterbox trained but we are working on that daily! Timmy has lived indoors only as well as with a cat that he got along with very well. Maybe you can open your heart and home to this candy man!
