The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Tegan

Tegan - Female New Zealand mix. White with tan markings/spots. Age: 1-2years Weight; 10-12lbs

Tegan came to 3 Bunnies with another rabbit, Bun Franklin. She was also going to slaughter, and was living in a small cage. Tegan does not like to be held, as she also was being picked up by her ears. The ordeal that these buns went through had more of an effect on Tegan, but with time and love, she has really started to relax and look forward to attention. Tegan now gets very excited to see people, and will do silly binkys and laps around her area, especially if there is a treat involved. Tegan really likes dogs. Maybe she thinks they are another rabbit!

Tegan is a wonderful girl, but would be best in a rabbit experienced home. Just give this big girl a chance, and she will fill your heart with joy
