The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

A beautiful silky black American/Dwarf mix, approx 6 months old, and 4lbs.

This sweet little girl was brought to a CT vet almost dead. She was a skeleton at almost 1lb, with her top front teeth growing into the roof of her mouth, and the bottom teeth growing up in her nose. her people had no money for care, so the vet took her in, and immediately trimmed her teeth, and Star, who was so hungry, fell into a bowl of pellets. Once healthy, her teeth were removed.

Now in 3 Bunnies care, Star is playing, doing binkies, and eating lots of good hay, greens and pellets, and getting plenty of TLC. Star loves attention, and just gets such a happy look on her face, when you give her body rubs and face kisses. Her coat is amazingly soft, and shines like a star in the sky. She is waiting for a forever home, that will give her the love she never knew.
