Update Spring, 2006:
We are very saddened to report that Robere passed away in his sleep
last night. He had been having some issues with stasis (the silent
killer) and he finally lost his battle with it. Please read up on this
health problem here:
GI Stasis (for owners)
and if you ever have to
treat it, you may want to offer this article to your vet so they have
some very good information too:
GI Stasis (for vets).
Hi everybody, I'm
Robere, a brown Rex with a white
underbelly, and I'm about 4 or 5 years old.
I had a family once, but I guess they didn't like me much - they
hardly ever paid attention to me, which made me sad and lonely. Then
they decided they didn't even want to take care of my anymore, so they
just brought me to a shelter and left me there. That made me even
sadder.
Now that I'm in
3 Bunnies, I'm discovering what it's like to
get attention and I'm starting to come out of my shell (I'm not sure
what that means, since rabbits don't have shells). I'm still very
shy, but I am very curious, very calm and I can even be held. And I
like doing those bunny flops on my side, sticking out my white
underbelly and cleaning my front paws. I'm very neat, and I have
excellent litterbox habits (the people at
3 Bunnies think I'm a
bit of a clean freak).
I really hope I find a nice adult home (I'm not so good around small
children), and I get along okay with gentle dogs. I'm always running
up to people looking for scratches and rubs.
So what do you say? Got room in your home for an adorable Rex?
Thanks for reading!!
