Hello everyone, I'm Ricki.

I'm a very lovable 2yr old steel grey and white Dutch, approx 3-4lbs. My story is somewhat sad, but full of determination and hope.

Ricki was part of a litter, yet he was delivered much later and unexpected, then his siblings. Barely alive, his people warmed him and did Reiki on him (hence Reiki is his former name) He survived, and showed a strong will to live.

However Ricki's troubles were just starting. Despite getting stronger, and growing, Ricki has been plagued with dental problems, which have led to stasis issues if not caught in time. His people found themselves continually having to take him in for molar spurs. No sooner would one molar be filed down, then two more would develop spurs. This has continued, with Ricki often having to go to the vet every 2 weeks or so.

With no end in sight, it was decided the best thing to do was euthanasia, but Ricki's people put out a plea, hoping someone would give him a chance, and be better able to deal with his dental issues. Alerted to his plight by fellow rescuers, 3 Bunnies agreed to take Ricki in.

Ricki is full of life. He is very outgoing and playful, and will snuggle up in your arms. He loves other bunnies, and gets such joy out of digging and "scruntching" up his blankets. It is our hope that our vets will be able to correct Ricki's molar problems.

PLEASE consider helping Ricki by making a donation and becoming a sponsor. NOTE: Ricki will not be available for adoption, until his dental issue has been dealt with.

Thanks for reading!!
Ricki
