The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Punk

(Arrived May 2011) Meet Punk (named Pink until we found out he is a boy). This precious white NZ mix baby (7-8 weeks old, as of May 2011) was found by Animal Control under a car in a parking lot. When found, Punk had blood in his nose so the ACO took him to a vet where is was said to be ok. When 3 Bunnies took him in, it was noticed he was not using a back leg. X-rays revealed a severe femur fracture but because it was already starting the healing process, we could not fix it. Due to how it is healing, Punk's leg will prenatally be shorter. He is not using the leg much, but is getting around and playing. We are doing rehabilitation to help with the use of his leg, and providing plenty of soft bedding. Punk is the sweetest baby who loves to snuggle and get get kisses. He adores attention.
