Arrived December 2011 Adopted April 2012 by Kathyann
Update: 1/24/12:
Pippa is healing well from having her leg amputated. This tiny
little girl does not let anything stop her. We are still awaiting
her spay per her veterinarians instructions.
This beautiful brown/chestnut colored Dutch mix is around 5 months
old and approx 3-4lbs. Pippa was brought into one of the vets that
work with 3 Bunnies by her former people because her back leg was
misshapen and not being used. Xrays showed a severe break with
the only options being amputation or euthanization. Thanks to the
determination of the vet, the people surrendered Pippa as they
were not going to provide care and leave the leg as it was. Pippa
had her rear leg amputated and is recovering well. Pippa is
demonstrating that she is capable of getting around just fine, and
this little girl is affectionate as ever. Pippa still has to
receive follow up care, but once she is fully recovered, will
become available for adoption. We will keep you updated!
