See Peggy Sue and 3Bunnies in the news!!
Peggy Sue and baby Indie were adopted September 3, 2006 by
the Conner family!!
Peggy Sue's story:
A man and his children were driving on a road, and noticed a white
rabbit on the side. Getting out they got the rabbit, then checking a
bit more into the brush, found 3 more. They loaded the rabbts into the
truck, then started to head off. Looking in the rearview mirror, the
man saw a white rabbit running after the truck! They stopped and
scooped up number 5!
A few hours later, the thought he should go back and check the
spot. Sure enough, there was rabbit #6 waiting to be helped. After
searching the area, no more rabbits were found.
Rescues were contacted asking for any help/advice. This family said
they would work to find these buns good homes and were very upset that
anyone would just dump thse buns on the side of the road. 2 buns found
a home right way, and 3 Bunnies was asked if they could help with the
female, who was clearly pregnant.
So this is Peggy Sue's story.
