The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Noffus

	Adopted May 13, 2005 by Dave as a new mate for Tamari. Noffus (short for "noffusale" or "not for sale") was temporarily named Daniel by The Animal Refuge League shelter in Westbrook, Maine. He went straight from being unwanted at the pet store to being unwanted at the shelter (no one even looked at him in the six months he was there). He was scheduled for euthanasia, so we transferred him to 3 Bunnies and found him a home the next day!
	This picture shows Noffus with his new mate Tamari. It took a couple weeks to form the bond, but they are now very much in love. This picture was taken during the bonding process, while still in the "detente" phase.
	This picture shows Noffus with his new mate Tamari, after converting the sectional couch to a fort for them to play in. They are very much in love now and spend most of their time playing hide'n'seek from Dave, except when he's trying to sleep - then they play "bounce on the bed".
