Update December 20, 2005: Sadly, Mitzi went to the
Rainbow Bridge today. She had been
adopted but was returned to
3 Bunnies because she was having
stomach problems and her family didn't know how to deal with it. We
put her with another bunny and the two of the bonded instantly, but
today she passed away. Goodbye, sweet
Mitzi, we love you and
we miss you.
Update:
Mitzi is back at
3 Bunnies, through no fault of her own. Although she
bonded with a male bun, he started to get a little more aggressive
than Mitzi was prepared for and she was becoming fearful, so in her
best interests she is back with us and waiting for that right "hunny
bun" to sweep her off her feet (paws)!!!
(approx. 3yrs old) - This lovely girl was surrendered to the local
shelter, where the vet had to sedate her to remove the mass of
impacted feces. Once done, her crotch area was so swollen and
inflammed from having been left like that.
Mitzi has recieved medical
care and put on a diet, and is recovering wonderfully!! This girl is
so full of personality!! She grooms her stuffed bunnies, then drags
them around with her, often putting them in the litterbox, or sticking
them in her water bowl!! Hey they get thirsty too!!
Mitzi loves
attention and can think of nothing better, than spending time getting
a full body message and face kisses!!
