Hello - My name is Maggie, I am a sweet but shy little dwarf bun. I lived with other bunnies in an outdoor dog house for two years with hardly any light. The family kept the rabbits and many went to their dinner plates.....for some reason, they took a liking to me and just kept me as a "pet". I don't think they knew any better and that I had feelings and was not happy at all. A nice woman realized I was there and spoke on my behalf and persuaded the family to allow me to find an indoor loving home where I could thieve, which brings us to Nov. 2008 when I entered 3bunnies care.

I was taken the other day for my spay and I did not like that, but otherwise I have been given a great big space to live in and the best food I ever tasted....I had been living on bread if you can believe that. I have toys and a stuffed friend. I spend a lot of time buried under the hay, my eyes are still adjusting to the light. I am cute as a button and although I get a bit nervous when my caretakers come over to me, they are so gentle and loving that I enjoy the pets and snuggles they so readily give me. I am excited to find my own family who I don't have to share, although I may be a good bonding candidate if you have a nice friendly bun looking for a darling friend (that would be me).

Hello!! I'm Maggie May, a 1.3 yr old 6-7lb white and black Mini Lop. I love to explore and will make you laugh if I decide to do one of my "spazzy" binkies. I really like other buns, and would enjoy a friend, but for now, I have my stuffed bunny, which I lay across and use for a pillow.

I like to have my head rubbed and body stroked, but really get a kick out of digging in my cardboard box. I like to be involved in whats going on, and get all the good gossip (Hee Hee). How can you resist me!!

Thanks for reading!!

History: Gotten as a baby, Maggie's people noticed her leg was not right, taken to the vet, where her front leg was diagnosed as a subluxation/? broken. Informed that a future amputation would probably be needed. A year later, her people had to surrender her. Now in our care, Maggie will be seen by our vet for her front leg. She is using the leg, bearing weight, running, playing, digging.

Special thanks to the following people for helping sponsor Maggie May's medical needs:
  • Yuliya and Maggie
