About Us

3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

  • To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
  • To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
  • To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

An adorable adult female Cinnamon approx 6lbs. Riverdale was living in a motel with people and when they threatened to take her "out back" and break her neck, another person at the motel took her. Hey there! My name is Ursula and I'm a beautiful New Zealand girl. I'm less than a year old and weigh around 8-10 pounds. After spending some time in a CT shelter, I am now in the care of a 3 Bunnies foster home where I have been showing off some of the highest binkies you've ever seen! This beautiful Palomino mix female adult is approx 8lb. Dixie was found as a stray in a graveyard. She had a severe tail injury and had to have her tail amputated. Dixie is a sweet girl who enjoys having people around, but can be a bit timid, so it is best you let her interact with you on her own terms. She was shuffled from home to home no longer wanted until taken in by a family seeing she needed to be placed in a rescue so she could get the care she needed.
