About Us

3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Josie - A stunning 2yr old black and white Dutch, approx 3-4lbs

Hi all!! I'm Josie!

I'm a wonderful girl, who loves being held and getting full body rubs, but I do have some "quirks". I can be very protective at times of my space, but having been kept in a tiny cage all my life, and poked and pulled at by kids, who can blame me. I am learning that I'm not going to be tormented any more, so I'm getting better. I also go a little "kooky" when I get my food, but with understanding, I will calm down about my food.

When you hold me, I snuggle right in, and LOVE my face kissed. Oh I just need time and patience, cause I really am a great little bun!!

Note: Josie needs to go to an adult home with rabbit experience. She has shown to be interested in other rabbits, so she may be a good bonding candidate
