Note: Harvey and Mercedes are now a happy couple!!
Hi, I'm Harvey, named after the street I was found on, and I am
hoping for a new name. I was outside for about a week and these people
were trying to get me but I was too scared to let them get close
enough to catch me. Finally, they offered me some lettuce and it was
to good to pass up so I went for it and they got me. I must say I am
so happy to be here.
Let me tell you about myself. I am a Gorgeous (if I may so myself)
tan/rust colored Rex rabbit. As Rexes are known for their wonderfully
thick and soft fur, I fit into that description perfectly. I am
guessing that I am about 1-2 years old and my foster Mom keeps telling
me that I am great with my litter box. Humans are so simple - ya poop
in a box and they think you are the greatest.
One day my foster Mom moved my ex-pen (my house) to a new spot. It was
right next to this beauty named Mercedes. I was love struck at first
sight. Mercedes is a gorgeous silky black Lop. Rumor has it that she
was very lonely so they put me next to her to keep her company, a job
that I took with great responsibility. When the humans were not
around, I scaled the tallest building, leaped in a single bound, flew
thru the air.....okay so I hopped a 30 inch wall and was discovered
the next morning laying along side Mercedes who was still in her
ex-pen. My foster Mom realized that a love as strong as our was a
force not to be reckoned with and conceded to allow us to bond which
took all of 3 seconds. Mercedes just dropped her head down and I went
to town grooming her and we have not been apart since....till death do
us part!
We are a great pair and very amusing to watch. We both are well
behaved and enjoy human attention and pets and snuggles as well as
being with each other. We just want a place to call our own, what do
you think?
Love,
Harvey
Hello, I'm Mercedes. I'm a lovable goofy 1 year old black
French/Mini Lop mix, approximately 7lbs. I'm a very friendly girl and
will follow you around like a puppy dog. I like other buns and would
probably be just fine with nice cats and dogs.
I get such a giggle out of climbing and jumping up on things. I'm
doing very good with my litterbox, and my binkies are pretty funny.
So I see Harvey has aired all our dirty laundry and divulged our
affair details. Don't tell him but I had been hoping he would find his
way to me from the moment I set eyes on that gorgeous Rex fur of
his. When I saw him scale the walls in a single bound, ya know that
30 inch jump he took, my heart just missed a beat, he was MINE! He is
really such a love and even puts up with the little nit of "Lopatude"
which I as well as most Lops poses.
Hey, a beautiful Lop and a gorgeous Rex, what more could you want to
add joy to your home. Please consider allowing us to share your life
and join your forever family and complete our story.
Thanks -
Mercedes
