Update September 2, 2006:
It is with great sadness that we report that
Harmony is no
longer with us. She was not doing well, and has crossed over "The
Bridge". Banjo, is recovering well, and will be neutered ASAP. We had
seperated the two, when first taken in, due to being unaltered
male/female, and Harmony needing quiet/healing time. Harmony had
several issues and appeared to be older. Now she runs free to play and
binky, without any pain or suffering.
Sponsor Banjo
Hello everyone, I'm
Banjo, a white and grey male lop, about 4lbs, and
Harmony is a female black Mini Rex.
We were abandoned in a local city park, scared, confused and sick. Why
would our people do this to us, we wondered, as we huddled together at
the edge of the woods.
Poor Harmony, her eye was closed, bulging, swollen and infected. My eye
was also sore and infected.
A nice couple found us, and brought us to a warm, safe place, then had
a vet look at us. knowing we needed help, they called 3 Bunnies, and
we are now in their care.
We spent 2 days at the vets, and we feel better, and are receiving
medication. My eye already looks better, but Harmony is still not
doing real good.
Our wish is to have a loving forever home, and to never feel alone and
frightened again.
Thanks for reading!!
Harmony and Banjo
Note: Harmony had an emergency spay, and both rabbits are receiving
oral antibiotics and topical eye meds, in addition to other medical
treatment they received. Harmony has indications of old sore hocks,
and some limitation in extending her back legs.
Special thanks to the following people for helping sponsor Harmony and Banjo's
medical needs:
