The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Gummi Bear

This little male Himalayan Netherland Dwarf, 6-8 months old, and approx 2lbs, is adorable with his little "tuft" of hair (ok, a mohawk) between his ears.

Gummi Bear is a bit shy and unsure, but does enjoy attention, once he realizes that it is only gentle rubs and face kisses that you want to give him (he was also passed around to a couple of homes with Cheerio, before ending up in the shelter). You can tell he wants to play and be social, but he just needs some patience and TLC. We think that Gummi would do best with a bond mate to help make him feel safe, and in an adult home. This little guy really is a sweetheart.
