Update October 1, 2007:
George is just as sweet as can be!!! He is completely blind,
and the one eye that had such a bad infection, is doing good. He does
need his eye ointment every now and then, but he has such a great
happy attitude!
This is George.
This little 3-3.5lb Cinnamon Holland Lop, is a LOVE!
George is 11.5 yrs old, and came into 3 Bunnies after a desperate plea
for help. George lived mostly in an outdoor hutch, except in extreme
cold. He is blind in one eye, due to severe cataract. Recently the eye
became swollen and red. George was vetted, and has been on eye
meds. His eye culture also showed moderate E. cunniculi.
His eye is better, but it could worsen at any time.
Unfortunately he was never neutered, and at this point, the vet feels
it would be too risky.
George is such a sweetheart, and pretty darn "frisky" for his
age. George is a bun that is up for sponsorship, so
his senior years can be comfortable.
Thanks for reading!!
George
