Adopted June 27, 2005 by Cheryl and Family (and Aries!)
Ezekiel (Zeke) - this big goofy black New Zealand has had a rough
start in life, but remains playful, affectionate and full of life!!
Found as a stray, Zeke spent almost a month in vet care recovering
from pneumonia. From there, he went to a shelter where he developed
open wounds to both feet (sore hocks). Finally taken to a vet, his
feet were wrapped and treated while in a temporary foster home. About
a month and 2 weeks later, Zeke was given the ok to be returned to the
shelter. Fearful that his feet would once again develope wounds, 3
Bunnies took him into foster care. Zeke is such a good boy!!! He is
trying to decide if he is a lop in disguise (yes his ears go down like
a lop) or if he looks "distinguished" with one ear up and one down!!
Zeke is putting on weight and enjoying doing bunny dances and standing
on his tip-toes for attention. Is Ezekiel the rabbit for you??
Update: Zeke has put on weight and is doing great!! His foster mom
says he is the gentlest rabbit and gets along with everyone (good with
cats/dogs/other rabbits). Don't pass up this lovable big guy!!
