Update June 22, 2008: Daisy has healed from the urine scald and is looking BEAUTIFUL! Her ears are getting so big, that the tips are curling over! Daisy loves climbing on cardboard boxes, and snuggling for face kisses. What a silly baby!
Hello,
My name is Daisy and I am a 4-6 month old Red New Zealand girl. I was
found in West Hartford roaming the neighborhood. I had not been in
good housing before that as I am suffering urine scald and have lost a
lot of fur on my underside, paws, and tail. I expect now that I have
great living quarters, that will come back and the rest of me and my
coloring is just beautiful. Now that I have met some nice people, I am
liking them very much. They let me sit in their laps and snuggle deep
into their necks and I just love it. they laugh and say that my body
just melts in for the attention, which I admit it does. I am eating
really good, the food here is great, excellent hay, great selection of
greens... a girl can get used to this treatment and I expect being
treated like this in my very own forever family will be even better.
So, I will work hard at healing my sore areas and be ready to join
your family very soon. Please don't wait long to come get me, I am
looking so forward to settling in with you.
