The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

  • To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
  • To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
  • To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Chessy & Dublin

These two Netherland Dwarf mixes came into a CT shelter as part of a seizure.

Chessy is a gorgeous mahogany color and Dublin is a soft tan color. Approx 3-4lbs. They are adult rabbits.

Chessy and Dublin are a match made in heaven. They are the sweetest pair. Chessy is a bit of a lazy bunny while she is in her cage, but once she is out-you have to try to keep up with her. She enjoys the hours of being pampered by her husbun Dublin. Now Dublin on the other hand loves to snuggle up close to Chessy and keep her cozy. He enjoys taking lots of care of her. He is a bit more active. He is very cautious when it comes to something or someone he doesn't know-and he usually approaches it by walking, not hopping. He primps and pampers his wife like she is the only girlbun in the world. This couple is in need of lots of love.... They prefer a quiet life, laid back ,but with lots of attention.
