3 Bunnies Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer non-profit organization dependent on donations to help us rescue unwanted domestic rabbits and educate the public on rabbit care. We are a network of foster homes located in New England and New York.

The primary goals of 3 Bunnies are:

• To rescue abandoned, unwanted, and abused rabbits without prejudice to age, gender, breed, type, or other issues; to provide foster care; to spay and neuter; to provide medical and rehabilitative care; to find permanent quality indoor homes for them;
• To educate the public and assist humane societies, animal control officers, and other rescues, in teaching proper rabbit care to the public;
• To reduce, primarily by public education, the number of rabbits abandoned at shelters and / or turned loose when no longer wanted.

Bun Franklin

This big goofy Flemish/English Spot/NZ mix is approx 1yr or younger and around 10lbs (we expect him to get a bit bigger).

Bun Franklin did not have a very good start in life. Bred for the pet store trade, he was deemed "undesirable" due to his size, so he was going to be sent to slaughter.

Hi everybody! Bun Franklin here. I'm a sweet big guy. I LOVE body rubs and will get so comfortable, that I smoosh down flat and just about fall asleep. Kind of like a spa treatment! I can be a bit wary of new things, so I tend to tip toe over to investigate. I have not yet mastered a "binky", but I have fun trying. I really like playing with toys, and can make some great clanging and banging sounds with them. HMMMMMMMM.....maybe I will be a drummer in a rock band when I grow up....nah, I'd rather be someone's loving companion. I also do not mind my foster parents big dog.

Note: Bun Franklin does not like to be picked up, as how he had been previously handled, was to be picked up by his ears.
