Update November 15, 2010:
Brooke and 3 Bunnies would like to thank all her sponsors and well
wishers who helped in her recovery. Without your support, Brooke
would not have been able to have found a loving forever home.
White and brown patch New Zealand mix, 1 year old (as of 9/2010)
and approx 8lbs.
Brooke is one of the three surviving rabbits from the Twin Brooks
Park case in Trumbull CT. Some may remember her as "Baby Girl"
from the news footage (another rescue had taken her in and was
providing medical care. She was in the worst shape). Brooke is now
in 3 Bunnies foster care, and has needed further medical
attention. She developed an abscess in the tear duct, causing her
eye to bulge. Brooke had to have the eye removed and required
x-rays to her front leg due to a small limp. Fortunately the
x-rays were negative (when first rescued, her feet were so bad,
that she had a abscess on the front foot and although healed, may
have left the slight limp).
Brooke is recovering and looking better each day. She is the
sweetest girl. Loves attention and kisses, and does not mind being
held. Brooke is doing "bunny dances" and loves to hop up on things
so she can explore better. She is great with her litterbox and may
make a good bonding candidate.
If you are looking for a big love bun, Brooke is the one!!
