Update December, 2010:
The top picture is our most recent of Bobbie - not bad for a 15 year old bunny!
Update February 2, 2009:
Little Bobbi has had two treatments for a question of Syphilis. His
nose mass has come off, and healthy pink tissue is now seen. Bobbi has
possibly one more treatment left. This little old man is starting to
"kick up his heels" and spends lots of his time giving kisses to his
foster mom
Update February 10, 2011:
Update: Little Bobbie has developed cataracts. He is now blind in one
eye, but still has sight in the other.due to his advanced age, he is
not a candidate for surgery. He will be on special eye drops for the
rest of is life. Bobbie is also on supplement food which is helping
him gain weight. despite his issues, Bobbie is loves life and will
even show a bit of "attitude" at times. He favorite thing is to
snuggle with his foster mom and give kisses. Thanks to all of Bobbie's
supporters, he is living his "golden years" getting plenty of TLC.
This sweet little Netherland Dwarf male came to 3 bunnies for
sanctuary. Bobbie is 12-14yrs old, and approx 1-2lbs. This precious
bun has lived his life in a 1'x2' wire cage outdoors, and in winter
the cage was moved to a garage. His water was often frozen, and he
recieved little attention. His savior was finally able to get him
to 3 Bunnies where his foster mom is working to put some weight on
him and giving lots of TLC. He spends hours snuggled up in her
arms, giving lots of kisses. Bobbie does have an issue with his
nose (possible old injury) and will be recieving vet care.
This bun is availabe for sponsorship.
Thanks for reading!!
