Betty Boop
Please click on a thumbnail to see a larger image
This sweet little black and white dutch patterned Lionhead, approx
3lbs, came into 3 Bunnies care after we received an emergency call for
help from BHS. Betty and her five newborn babies were left abandoned
outside in the cold. A kind man who lived in the apartment complex
where Betty was abandoned, took her and her babies inside, and called
BHS for help. Once alerted, 3 Bunnies took Betty and babies into
foster care.
Betty has pulled out a large amount of her fur in building the nest,
so she has several areas of bare skin, and even her tail is missing
fur. We believe Betty to be young, maybe 5-6 months old.
Betty is a sweet girl, who likes attention and snuggles. She is a good
momma, frequently checking up on her babies to make sure they are ok.
Look for updates as the babies grow!!!
Update April 5, 2009:
Betty Boop had a second litter of of six babies this morning.
We had to separate her from the first litter and we are hoping
she will nurse the new litter.
