Adopted December 26, 2005 by the Cafiero family!!
Hi people, I'm Arlo - I'm about one year old, I'm a cross
between a Chinchilla and Snowshoe hare, and I have super long
eyelashes (great for flirting with the girl bunnies!).
I had a home once, and I really loved my humans, but I don't know what
happened - I guess they just didn't like me, because they set me loose
outside. I was so scared, I didn't know what to do. I tried to find
food, but it was really hard. I tried to find shelter, but that was
really hard too. I was sad, I was lonely, and I was hungry. I kept
wondering what I did wrong that made my family throw me out. I wound
up just hiding under a car, not knowing what else to do, and then some
people found me - I thought they were going to make me go away, like
my first family did, but instead they called 3 Bunnies, and
before I knew it, I had been rescued. Finally!!
These people are so nice to me, and they feed me and love me and give
me all kinds of attention, and they tell me it wasn't my fault and
what a great boy I am. Now
that I feel safe and loved, I'm really coming out of my shell. I'm
super social, and I love being held and cuddled like a baby. I like
to know everything that's going on and joining in on all the activity
- when the humans here are doing anything, I like to supervise them
and make sure whatever it is they're doing, they're doing it right!!
Sometimes I even jump into the shower when there's a human in there -
I don't know why they like standing in the rain like that, but hey, if
they're doing it, so will I! YAY!! My turn!!
I'm used to children, and I get along with other animals too. I love
everyone! Right now I have a stuffed teddy bear to keep me company,
and I've been giving it a lot of "loving" - they say I'll calm down a
bit once I'm neutered (I don't think I like the sound of that).
Everyone here says I'm a wonderful bunny, so how about adopting me and
giving me a loving forever home so you can have a wonderful bunny of
your very own, and I can have a wonderful family of my very own!!
Thanks for reading!!
Arlo
p.s. please forgive the color balance in some of my photos - the nice
humans aren't so good with some things, but I don't mind - they're
really good at taking care of me, and that's what really matters!
